The Womb is not a place to store fear and pain! The Womb is a place to create and give birth to life!

These two sentences are the core message of a 13 Moon Munay ki rite I received while ago in Glastonbury in the Temple of the Goddess and since then I am giving it away for free to other women that I meet on my path. It is a rite of healing offered to humanity by medicine women from Amazonian forests. It asks us to open to the mysteries of the Womb and heal those wounds that we have stored for so long, preventing us from living a fulfilling, happy and abundant life.

I have been working with womb energy since 2016 when the old legends of the Witch of Evora vibrated inside my own womb and heart, calling me to bring back Her story and energy in Portugal, in that small town called Evora, an UNESCO protected historical site.

At that time I didn’t even know what I was carrying inside this place called womb and I was also disconnected from the chalice that is the space between womb and heart. I was carrying anger, sadness, grief, shame and so many other heavy burdens, but a lot of processing was done inside my mind, a busy one, a creative one. Strategies to overcome trauma and pain have been put into place along my life to help me cope with the burdens and give a sense to the struggle…but in the long run they would also become obsolete and lose their effectiveness. The body was always giving me signals when the pain was too much, when I should have stopped and answered that call of connecting and paying more attention.

In 2020 I started to study psychotrauma with a new method also known as Intention method. Another deeper journey started for me too and became a series of Deaths and Rebirths. Subconscious layers of implicit memories started to be brought up by the body and came alive in many sessions…all those skeletons I was trying to hide in the closet were given a new chance to be seen and buried at last. With every grieving process, another facet of illusion and survival was peeled off…painfully, uncontrollably, necessary.

I often hear women speaking about their long lasting healing processes and I do not doubt they brought a lot of improvement on their path and self-awareness. I often ask them:

– Did you work with the Womb?

– Did you acknowledge the trauma and pain you stored there and released them through therapy?

– Did you walk that excruciating journey of re-connecting with the suppressed anger and shame you hold for so long?

– Did you do trauma work for your matrilineage so you understand their inheritance and how to transform it into learning and healing?

And often I hear: Yes, I did a lot o f trauma work…but then disease, discomfort, struggle hit again, like a curse.

Trauma is often hidden in many places and emotions. When we suppress and refuse to connect with that deep hidden world we carry in the body and subconscious, the body finds ways to show that something needs attention in other forms: a symptom, a disease, a relationship that does not work and so on.

Every session of therapy can be seen as a rite of passage, from the Old to the New, from something Familiar to something Unknown, from the Past that we often ignore or forget to a Future unfolding in many miraculous ways. Because each self-meeting (at least for IoPT method) shows you a side of you that has been neglected, not cared for or loved for what it is and was. Each self-meeting gathers the fragments of the self split by trauma and rebuilds parts of the puzzle that is your Healthy Identity.

There is no recipe to know for how long and with which frequency to work with the womb once you start. Each woman and womb are different and have different needs, with a different anamnesis and life experience, a different trauma biography..

A careful tending to these needs and mapping the trauma genealogy is a first step and therefore I always ask women to answer a long questionnaire about themselves and their own story of the womb and disease.

The next step is to understand where the woman is in her journey and usually a womb healing using sound healing, massage, guided journeys and other tools opens up the energy of exploration and shows the main aspects that need urgent attention. Often in such a setting I start to notice the body signals and the trauma responses.

A third step is to plan a sequence of further steps: I can offer programs of several sessions or packages of sessions tailored to answer specific questions or needs. It is normal that I blend therapy sessions with sound and womb healing and also constellation work. This way the trauma therapy is supported and properly integrated.

Often we need to understand better the ancestral inheritance and its contribution to certain situations that lead to traumatic events as many tend to show a repetition or specific patterns of thought, belief or behavior that under the law of hidden loyalties will repeat themselves from one generation to another. And these loyalties can be uncovered with family constellation work, very deep and very healing too.

This was my message for you today, if you are a womb carrier or mother to a girl. If you want to stop the transgenerational curses and create a new lineage with a healthier and happier perspective and living, start with your own womb and work both on the present and past traumas it carries. Connect, listen, open the heart to this magic space and its vibration and learn to let go of fears, pain, shame, grief.

This way this place will become a cradle of creation and start to give birth to a new Life!

Without realizing I made a post 2 days ago that suddenly became viral and a lot of people started to comment on it. I engaged in the discussion curious to see what people say and think…and it has been very interesting and I learned a lot about the human psyche and the cognitive bias and misunderstandings we engage in just by looking at a picture with a text associated with it.

Life is Love… all the rest is Porn

I just finished watching a series dedicated or inspired from the life of a Porn star, named Rocco Siffredi. As I do not watch porn, I did not know anything about him but the movie shows he earned a kind of Oscar for his artistic performance.
I did not know what to expect from the movie but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. And it can be a good case study for a training on Trauma biography and survival strategies.
